KDWPT says they have exciting changes coming for Kansas license buyers, especially those that buy licenses online

Exciting Changes Coming For Kansas License BuyersPRATT –
When you purchase your 2018 licenses and permits from the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism (KDWPT), you’ll likely notice some changes. As usual, annual and 14-day camp permits and most other annual licenses will be available on Dec. 15, 2017. The campsite and cabin reservation system for 2018 will go live Dec. 18, 2017.

Now for the changes:

The biggest and most convenient change for 2018 will be the introduction of an auto-renew feature. Select annual licenses and permits purchased online will include a voluntary auto-renew option, which will automatically renew those purchases one year from the date of purchase.

License buyers will be able to opt in or opt out of the auto-renew feature at the time of purchase or any time after purchase through their online KDWPT account. Go to www.ksoutdoors.com/auto-renew for more information.

Another exciting change for 2018 is that many annual licenses and permits will be valid for 365 days from the date of purchase rather than expiring on Dec. 31 each year. This will provide better value for the same price, especially on licenses purchased late in the year. License buyers will have the option of receiving email reminders before their licenses expire, or better yet, they can select the auto-renew option leave the worry to KDWPT. Go to www.ksoutdoors.com/365-licenses for a list of 2018 licenses and permits that are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.

While these new features are implemented, licenses and permits purchased between Dec. 15 and Dec. 31, 2017 will not be valid until Jan. 1, 2018. In the past, licenses purchased on or after Dec. 15 were valid for the rest of December and all of the following year.

Get better value for your hard-earned money and “Never Miss A Memory” with KDWPT’s new auto-renew and 365-day license options.
