Kansas Trout Stocking Schedule October 2004 thru June 2005

SPECIAL PERMIT REQUIRED - Your 2004 permit is good until January 1, 2005
The KDWP has stocked rainbow trout in waters throughout the state. ANYONE fishing for trout in these waters during the periods listed above must purchase an $11.00 trout stamp.The stamp is valid for the current calendar year. Residents 16 -65 years old and nonresidents 16 years and older must also have a valid fishing license.
YEAR-ROUND: Trout fishing at Mined Land Wildlife Area Unit #30 (Cherokee County) and Tuttle Creek Reservoir Seep Stream requires a trout permit year-round.
LOCAL STOCKINGS: Some local governments in areas such as Topeka and Kansas City have their own trout stocking programs. Many of these require a fee, but the state permit is not required. Local city and county recreation departments should have details.
