Anglers now have a chance to
give sponsors more exposure and share tournament succcess with
others

Angler Online has introduced a new program that will give tournament
anglers a chance to publicize their successes and give their
sponsors more exposure. For a small investment, anglers can have
their own website to showcase their tournament fishing success,
their resume and other activities they do to promote the sport
and their sponsors.
"Through the years, I've talked with a number
of anglers that want to give their sponsors as much exposure
as possible. They also want to do things that help them get additional
sponsors," said Kansas Angler publisher Jim Zeiner. "I
think this program is something that will help them do that."
Zeiner was talking with Goessel, Kansas tournament
Angler Curt Graves in October about ideas to help Graves promote
his sponsors and Zeiner's desire to provide more content and
services on the Kansas Angler Online website. The new program
is a result of that conversation.
"Curt was willing to serve as our guinea pig
so to speak," Zeiner said. "He and I spent time talking
about the type of format to use for what amounts to a website
for the tournament angler."
Graves' website is online now and Graves plans
to add to it by filing reports from the tournaments he fishes.
"I think it will be a way I can give my sponsors
more exposure and maybe help other anglers by reporting on what
is working in the tournaments I fish," Graves said.
"I don't know if the new program will appeal
to anglers or not, but I seems to me like something that might
be a good service for Kansas Angler Online to provide,"
Zeiner said. "If it doesn't, that's alright. Nothing ventured,
nothing gained."
Zeiner has tried to keep the investment from the
angler to a minimum and is waiving setup charges until January
