          | Channel Catfish:
           | good | Some finding cats drifting the wind-blown flats Also try prepared baits at the mouths feeder creeks. Some fish beginning pre-spawn, try some slip-bobbers near
            rip-rap 3-5
           |
          | Crappie:
           | Fair/good | . Long Polinin the tree roots with anything w/ chartreuse
has been working well in the backs of cuts. Most fish staged waiting temps to get back to seasonal
normal. Try the larger tree roots on the 8 flats.
           |
          | Largemouth Bass: | Fair | Its
spinnerbait time in the warming coves and river pockets. Take
a picture, they last longer. |
          | Smallmouth Bass: | N/A | |
          | White Bass: | Fair/good | Moving
up on the dam on Chart/White Roadrunner Bubble-Bellies 1/16oz.
Try an red/white 1/8 jig or casting spoon on the main-lake humps |
          | Walleye: | Fair/good | Should
beginning to show up on the humps on spoons. Or try driftin
a crawler on the flats by the swimming beach. Gotta be getting
hungry after the long spawn. |

          | Bluegill: | Poor | |
          | Channel Catfish:
           | good | Drifting
any prepared bait or shad-sides lake wide. Try the bank fishing
jetty @ the ramp, current = fish. Cats are in spawn mode. About
any rip rap area, there are 9 miles to choose from, will hold
            cats
.. Casting crankbaits <crawdad> or black Road
Runners works well.. Try a nightcrawler on a _ oz. jighead also
My favorite is Bobs Punch Bait on a slip-bobber in 3-5
            drifting. |
          | Crappie:
           | Excellent | Crappie
spawn is over but still seem to be hanging around on the 12"-15
            breaks.Try a 1/16 grey/grey Leroys jig. |
          | Largemouth Bass: | Fair | Spinnerbaits
<white> and crankbaits in the timbered areas chasing shad. |
          | Smallmouth Bass:
           | Fair | White spinnerbaits w/ small gold blade Split-shotn
and drop-rig presentations have produced well also. 1/8 black hair jigs and sassy shad style baits have been
working on the riprap areas. Watermelon-red-flecked Chompers
on the west side of the east baffle-dyke is a good choice.
           |
          | White Bass: Wipers:
           | Fair/Good | Bass Assassins in the shad/fleck on _ oz. Heads work well
on the flat points above the discharge. Pay attention to wind
direction! Early A.M. Surfacing fish will smack a chat/white
_ oz. Roadrunner or a small rattletrap. Some spoonin fish can be caught off of the N. end
            of W. island.
           |
          | Walleye:
           | Fair |
.Really, use your favorite presentation, deep
spooning or shallow drifting w/ livebait
<big
            hunkin nightcrawler>
or a pork chop will do.. Not always the most productive, but the most fun is a 1/8
oz. grey hair jig slow rolled on some those 11-15
main lake humps. 75-150 fish a day for 2 folks is not uncommon
Really
.<mostly
            16"- 17 3/4" fish>.

           | Fair | Here
today gone tomorrow with these strange weather patterns. Large
numbers of fish, but size is lacking generally few nice fish
being caught mostly casting in the backs of warmer pockets. Most
fish are staged in the 8 brushpiles. Try drifting a slip-bobber. |
          | Largemouth Bass: | Poor | |

          | White Bass: | Poor | Running around with crappie looking for an easy meal. Some showing up on the dam w/ the gar. Road Runners in
white and yellow have produced some fish.
           |
          | Walleye: | Poor | Get those crawlers out and head for Turkey Point. Some fish have been taken in the 8drifts.
