BRESHEARS WINS WAL-MART BASS FISHING LEAGUE EVENT ON DEGRAY LAKE

Arkadelphia, Ark. (April 11, 2005) ­ Boater Stanley Breshears of Rogers
earned $3,711 Saturday as winner of the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League
Arkie Division event on DeGray Lake. The tournament was the second of
five regular-season Akie Division events and earned Breshears 200 points
in the Boater Division.

Breshears' winning catch of five bass weighed 15 pounds, 1 ounce.
Breshears concentrated on catching bedding bass with a jig.

Finishing second was Erik Ambort of Mabelvale with five bass weighing
14 pounds, 5 ounces that earned him $1,855. Paul C. Helton of
Russellville claimed $1,215 as the third-place finisher thanks to five bass
weighing 13 pounds, 13 ounces. In fourth was Joe Dorr of Waldron with five
bass weighing 12 pounds, 6 ounces worth $945, and finishing fifth and
earning $776 was Brandon Rhoden of Sheridan with five bass weighing 12
pounds, 5 ounces.

Helton earned an additional $750 as winner of the Ranger Cup and
Powered by Yamaha awards.

Gabe Herrington of Malvern took Boater Division big-bass award honors,
earning $570 for a 5-pound, 7-ounce bass. He caught his big bass on a
grey ghost-colored Horny Toad.

Kristy Bryant of Mount Ida earned $1,823 as the co-angler winner,
thanks to three bass weighing 9 pounds, 9 ounces that she caught on a Zara
Spook.

Rounding out the top five co-anglers are Michael Blackwell of Cordova,
Tenn. (three bass, 8 pounds, 3 ounces, $911); Russell Richmond of
Benton (five bass, 7 pounds, 14 ounces, $596); Steele Jones of Maumelle
(five bass, 7 pounds, 12 ounces, $464); and J. Brandon Guice of Conway
(four bass, 7 pounds, 9 ounces, $381).

Randy Crites of Plainview earned $280 as the co-angler big-bass award
winner with a 5-pound, 8-ounce bass he caught on a Carolina-rigged
lizard.

The Arkie Division's next event will be held May 7 on Greers Ferry
Lake near Greers Ferry, followed by an event on Lake Dardanelle near
Russellville June 18. The Arkie Division will wrap up its regular season
Sept. 24-25 with a two-day Super Tournament on Lake Hamilton near Hot
Springs.

Following the regular season, the Arkie Division boater with the most
points will earn $1,000 as the Yamaha "Be the Best" points champion.
The co-angler amassing the most points will earn $500 as the Yamaha "Be
the Best" points champion in the Co-angler Division.

Every angler who receives weight credit in a tournament earns points,
with 200 points going to the winner, 199 for second, 198 for third, and
so on except for Super Tournaments, which award 300 points to the
winner, 299 for second, 298 for third, and so on. The top 40 Arkie Division
boaters and co-anglers based on year-end points standings will advance
to the Ohio River Regional near Paducah, Ky., Oct. 11-15 where they
will compete against Hoosier, Great Lakes, and Michigan division anglers
for one of six slots in the 2006 All-American. With a total purse of $1
million and a potential $140,000 cash prize going to the winning boater
and $70,000 going to the winning co-angler, the All-American is one of
the most prestigious and lucrative events in bass fishing.

DEGRAY LAKE TO HOST WAL-MART BASS FISHING LEAGUE ARKIE DIVISION TOURNAMENT

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (March 29, 2005) The Arkie Division of the $8.4 million Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League will visit DeGray Lake near Arkadelphia April 9 for the second of five regular-season events. As many as 200 boaters and 200 co-anglers are expected to compete in the tournament, which will award as much as $39,000 in cash, including as much as $5,500 to the Boater Division winner.

Iron Mountain Lodge and Marina in Arkadelphia will host the takeoff and
weigh-in at 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., respectively. Anglers will compete for
prize money as well as points that count toward postseason competition.
Every angler who receives weight credit in a tournament earns points, with
200 points going to the winner, 199 for second, 198 for third, and so on
except for the season-ending Super Tournaments, which award 300 points to
the winner, 299 points for second, 298 for third, and so on.

If the winner is a participant in the Ranger Cup incentive program, he
will receive a $1,000 bonus from Ranger Boats and $500 from Yamaha if his
boat is powered by Yamaha. (Ranger will award $500 to the highest-finishing
Ranger Cup participant if not the winner, and Yamaha will kick in $250 if
the boat is powered by Yamaha.) If the winning boater uses only Garmin
electronics during the event and at least one product is a qualifying unit,
Garmin will also award a $1,000 bonus. Bombardier will award $1,000 to the
winning boater if the winner,s boat is equipped with a qualifying Evinrude
Direct Injection outboard. That,s a potential top award of $8,500 for
anglers who meet contingency guidelines.

The winning co-angler will earn as much as $2,750 cash. The angler who
catches the biggest bass of the day in the Boater Division will earn as much
as $1,000, and the co-angler big-bass winner will earn as much as $500.

The top 40 boaters and co-anglers in each of the BFL,s 28 divisions at
the end of the season are eligible to advance to regional competition. Seven
$110,000 regional championships will each send six boaters and six
co-anglers to the 2006 All-American championship, which will feature a $1
million purse and a top award as high as $140,000. Anglers who compete in
all five regular-season events within a division but do not advance to
regional competition are eligible to compete in the Wild Card, which will
also send six boaters and six co-anglers to the All-American for a
championship field of 48 boaters and 48 co-anglers.

The top 40 Arkie Division boaters and co-anglers will advance to the
Ohio River Regional near Paducah, Ky., Oct. 11-15 and will compete against
anglers from the Hoosier, Great Lakes and Michigan divisions for an
All-American slot. The top 40 anglers from each division may also advance to
the EverStart Series in 2006.

Arkie anglers will next visit Greers Ferry Lake in Greers Ferry May 7
for their third regular-season event, followed by an event on Lake
Dardanelle in Russellville June 18. A two-day Super Tournament, the
division,s fifth and final event, will be held on Lake Hamilton in Hot

If the April 9 tournament is not yet full, entries will be accepted at
tournament registration, which will be held April 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the
Wal-Mart located at 109 WP Malone Drive in Arkadelphia. Entry fees are $200
for boaters and $100 for co-anglers.

In BFL competition, boaters supply the boat and compete from the front
deck against other boaters. Co-anglers compete from the back deck against
other co-anglers.
